Welcome to our parish!

The family and friends of St. James Eastern Orthodox Christian Church in Fort Collins welcome you!

Our parish belongs to the The Self-Ruled Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Within that body, we are located in the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America.

The community of St. James Church is a warm and loving family that is devoted to worshiping, believing, and living according to the fullness of the Christian faith as it has been transmitted through the ages from the original Church of Christ's Apostles down to our own time. We read in the book of Acts that:

"The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."
(Acts 11:26)

The original Christian community in the city of Antioch (and many other of the ancient cities of the Roman Empire) has continued to exist as the Eastern Orthodox Church through the ages and finds one particular expression in the community of St. James parish.

Please come and see! We would love to share our family and our worship with you!
